It's needless to say, yet he may bring some calamity to us when he's grown up.

Ti Jie is a member of the Mt. Liang warriors and the partner of Tou Jie.

Appearance[]

Ti Jie is a very large and muscular man with dark hair styled into a mullet. He goes shirtless, and wears a pair of pants as well as a pair of shoulder pads.

Personality[]

Like his partner Tou Jie, he is a cowardly, treacherous warrior whose nature is contrasted by his love for violence as he and Tou Jie went around China facing off against various martial artists.

Powers and Abilities[]

Techniques[]

Dark Hell Pan Clan Fist (瞑獄槃家流, Meigoku Hankeryu): Along with Tou Jie, Ti Jie is a practitioner of what is known as the mightiest killing fist of all Chinese history. Ti Jie has performed the following techniques:

  • Dance of a Thousand Palms (千掌舞せんしょうぶ, Senshobu): A rapid attack in which Ti Jie strikes with his index and middle fingers.
  • Running Eyelash Rending Spinning Ball (奔睫旋裂球ほんしょうせんれつきゅう, Honsho Senretsukyu): Ti Jie affixes a stick with a sphere at the end to his chest, balances on the sphere, and spins around like a top at such high speeds that his opponent only sees a circle of rapidly-spinning fists.

History[]

Pre Mt. Liang[]

Before joining Mt. Liang, Ti Jie and Tou Jie were dedicated to challenging different martial arts masters. Yan Shan-ling, master of the Evil Spirits Fist, was his next target. They appeared at the gates of his temple, and challenged him to a duel.

Offended by Yan's refusal, they launched the attack, but seeing that he surpassed them in power, Tou Jie took his pupil as hostage, and taking advantage of the distraction, Ti Jie pierced his chest with a punch. Afterwards, they knocked out his pupil and threw him off a cliff.

Great Heaven-Challenging Olympic Tournament[]

Ti Jie and Tou Jie were part of the Mt. Liang team during the Daibukai tournament. There, along with her team, they advanced to the semi-finals, where they faced Otokojuku. After the defeats of Zui Jie and Cang Jie, the duo decided that they would be the next to step down into the combat arena.

Upon arrival, they found who their rivals would be, and before they could introduce themselves, the man with the Mohawk confessed that he already knew who they were. Tou Jie, surprised that he knows their names, proposes to confront them in a Kanryuu Soukoku-tou, a type of handicap combat where one of the pair stay above an acid glass container in the form of a water clock. If it is not turned in less than three minutes, the acid will fall on top of the one below.

The mohawk man, Manjimaru, accepts the challenge. In the first move, Manjimaru manages to block his opponent's attack, cutting off his finger. Ti Jie returned to the attack, but Manjimaru easily caught him and was about to finish him off...but the acid container was almost about to break on top of his partner, Toramaru, so Manjimaru quickly turned the water clock over.

Ti Jie used that moment to show his Running Eyelash Rending Spinning Ball technique. Manjimaru managed to dodge the first attacks, counterattacking with his Hair Axe Infinite Return technique, with which he managed to destroy the stick where Ti Jie was leaning, who shortly after received the boomerang blow on the back.

Quickly, Manjimaru retrieved his boomerang and threw it against Tou Jie's water clock, discovering that there was actually no acid inside the container. Tou Jie, surprised at Manjimaru's insight, launched into the attack with his Reed-Mowing Slicing Kick technique. Despite taking several hits, Manjimaru managed to re-launch his boomerang, using the Hair Axe Great Curve technique. Ti Jie, who had taken advantage of the distraction to assassinate Toramaru, received the boomerang, slicing his head in two.
