Niu-bao is a member of the Gandhara priests and one of the Three Holy Treasures. Despite his appearance, he isn't Mr. Heart's long lost relative.
Appearance[]
He is a large muscular man with a fat and muscular build, with a notable belly with his head entirely bald. He has a thin moustache and an eagle tatooed on his chest. He wears a pair of dark pants and some pieces of armor. He is also usually seen smiling, giving him a jolly appearance that is contradicted by his cruelty.
Personality[]
Despite his cheerful appearance, he is a cruel and merciless fighter who likes to play with his enemies before crushing them.
He has a lot of pride in his body's rubbery nature, as he goaded Rasetsu into hitting him and even stood perfectly still to show it off, although his pride in his rubbery body isn't entirely unwarranted, considering he did manage to deflect Rasetsu's Finger of Destruction and had the upper hand on him for almost the entirety of their fight, and Rasetsu had to forcefeed him more of his Fattening Pills to defeat him.
However, in spite of his cruelty, he seems to be good friends with Yuan-bao, as he is seen letting the much smaller monk ride on his shoulder.
Powers and Abilities[]
Despite his big muscles and even bigger belly leading one of the believe that he'd be a slow-moving, yet hard-hitting fighter, Niu-bao is actually extremely agile and fast, as his singature technique, the Jumping Meatball Cannon takes advantage of his weight and rotund physique to bounce around like a ball to try and crush his opponents. He also has seemingly unparalleled defensive abilities thanks to his rubbery body, as Rasetsu's Finger of Destruction was useless on him.
Techniques[]
Jumping Meatball Cannon (肉毬跳砲, Rokyu Choho): Niu-bao uses his elastic-like body to bounce off the ground and land on his opponent.
- Jumping Meatball Cannon: Blindfire (肉毬跳砲乱射角, Rokyu Choho: Ranshakaku): Niu-bao uses his Jumping Meatball Cannon to bounce off the posts on the edge of the arena, making him able to attack from any direction.
Fattening Pill (膨漢丹, Bokantan): A special medicine that can cause Niu-bao's body to swell up due to the compound called Protein-based Ascorbomycin. In addition to the weight gain, this pill increases Niu-bao's elasticity several times over.

The Great Heaven-Challenging Olympic Tournament []
Along with Yuan-bao and Long-bao, they were embied by the Gandhara Elders to participate in the Daibukai and help their team win. The High Priest objected, saying that only sixteen liqueurs could be chosen...and in response, Long-bao killed two random priests, saying that now there were sixteen. The High Priest had no choice but to accept them.
Niu-bao was the first to enter the combat arena, meeting his rival: Rasetsu, of the Lords of Death. Rasetsu started his attack with his Toshikiha technique...but it had no effect against Niu-bao's belly. Seeing that this would be an easy victory, Niu-bao attacked with his Jumping Meatball Cannon, cornering Rasetsu. To top it off, he used his Fattening Pills to increase his belly size and elasticity, intending to execute Rasetsu.
Although what he did not count on was that Rasetsu would steal his Fattening Pills, giving him all the pills at once. This caused Niu-bao's belly to swell to the point that, with a single blow, Rasetsu managed to puncture him as if it were a balloon, causing him to fly off until he hit the sea.

Trivia[]
- His appearance and fighting style, namely his Fu Manchu mustache, as well as his ability to defend against attacks with his body fat, are similar to that of Mr. Heart, a character from Hokuto no Ken.
