Anubis is a member of Pharaoh Sphinx, and the one who choose the warriors that are going to face their enemies.
Appearance[]
Anubis has a upright dark hair, with long sideburns. He has an eye draw in his forehead. He wears a pair of long pants with heavy boots, with a pair of shoulder pads and an iron belt. Has a cape hanging from his shoulder pads and usually wears a helmet in the shape of the god Anubis.
Personality[]
He's a warrior of few words and with a superiority complex, believing himself invincible, but in the end he's a coward. He isn't afraid to sacrifice warriors in order to honor his pharaoh.

Iron Horse Trampling Storm of Nevged (ネブケドの鉄馬蹂嵐, Nevged no Tetsuba Juran): Anubis is capable of fighting on long, bladed iron stilts. These offer him an extended range and a height advantage, not to mention an advantage in the Melancholy of Luxor.

Great Heaven-Challenging Olympic Tournament[]
Of the 16 warriors of Pharaoh Sphinx, Anubis was the only one who was not in a sarcophagus, being in charge of receiving his new enemies: Otokojuku.
In addition, he was the one who chose the first two fighters, and after their defeats (and Neskhons, who had entered the fight on his own), the Pharaoh personally chose his bodyguards, and after their defeats, Anubis had no choice but to intervene.
After apologizing to the Pharaoh for the previous defeats, he ordered his subordinates to begin to build a small circular enclosure, then fill it with sand and place scorpions, which quickly hid in the sand. Seeing his opponent, Tsurugi Momotaro, he explained what his fight would consist of: they will be fighting on the sand full of scorpions.
The fight begins evenly, but Momotaro manages to surpass Anubis's ability, causing him to be stung twice by scorpions. Tired of this humiliation, Anubis splits his staff in two, using his Nevged no Tetsuba Juran technique to avoid touching the sand. Thus, he manages to take the advantage for a while, until Momotaro decides to stick his sword in the sand and climb on it. Using his Rinsenjin, he manages to shorten his stilts, before threatening him by placing his sword near his neck.
Anubis, cowardly, surrenders so that he leaves him, and Momo accepts his surrender. But Anubis, still wanting revenge, tried to attack Momotaro...but what was left of his stilts were also cut off by Momotaro, so he fell to the sand, and poisoned the scorpions to death.
